London’s Calling: Part 1

Outfit details:

Zara plaid dress (similar here), Black long sleeved shirt (similar here), Coach floral cross body bag (more fashionable here), Steve Madden combat boots (similar here)

When trying to decide where to travel to this summer there was an obvious destination that had been on my bucket list for a while: London. The old Victorian buildings, the royal history, the iconic department stores, and delicious pub food. I knew I would love London, but I dare say it’s a very close second to the City of Lights.

My Dad and I spent our first day (fresh off a 6 hour red eye) wandering around Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and everything in between. We stayed at Hotel Motel One Tower Hill London. It’s a lovely hotel with a 5-minute walk to Tower Bridge- what more could you need?

I wore this plaid number that you’ve seen here with my Steve Madden combat boots and a simple floral cross body. Comfort and style, people.

We climbed up the 300-odd (felt like a million) spiral steps to the top of The Monument for a 360º breath-taking view of London before continuing on to St. Paul’s Cathedral.

We ended the day with dinner overlooking Tower Bridge before getting some much-needed sleep for the start of a new adventure…
