…Or in this case, they’re gold! I’m a sucker for all things romantic and feminine and Valentine’s Day is no exception. If you’re looking for something to wear the 14th of February look no further than big floral prints and a frilly blouse.
I think we sometimes forget that there are other colours besides red that can be worn to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I chose to go with gold and hints of red instead.
I fell in love with this skirt not only because of the floral print but also because of the contrast waistband, which immediately reminded me of Alessandro Michele’s Gucci skirts (and you know I’m obsessed with his designs).
I paired this dreamy skirt with my favourite Jimmy Choo pumps (which you can read about in detail here). And since I live in the frozen tundra (not really), I layered with some warm black tights. Rule #1 of living in cold climates: layering is your best friend.
