I live in a bucket list-driven kind of way. Where should I travel to next? Check the bucket list. What type of food should I try next? Check the bucket list. What couture item should I be saving up for? Check the bucket list. Since my Mom and I had a bucket list item in common, it only made sense to check it off this summer. Since she was little she’s wanted to stand on the ocean floor at the Bay of Fundy. So that’s exactly what we headed out to do. On our way, my parents and I decided to check out Old Québec. I’ve heard it’s just like Europe, and Europe is someplace I simply cannot resist.
We did a lot of walking and shopping and some eating (in particular this stunning burger and fries). If Québec does one thing well, it’s definitely fries.
I wore the same Mango floral dress you saw in When in Rome (Part Two). It’s just so summery and comfortable, and during a long road trip comfort is key. I paired it with my grey Forever21 hat, nude Steve Madden sandals and my travel go-to, my Louis Speedy 30.
We stopped in at the beautiful Nôtre Dame de Québec before taking the ferry back to Lévis to continue our journey to the East Coast.
Embarking on a 12-hour road trip across the country to check off a bucket list item might seem ridiculous to some, but it’s pretty normal for me. Have you ever done something similar?
