- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of Half and Half cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup grated old cheddar
- 2 cups broccoli flowerets
- 1/2 cup bacon bits
- 2 Tenderflake® pie crusts
Quiche is one of my main go-to meals. It’s quick and tasty and can easily pass as a meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Set your oven to 350ºF and let’s get started!
Whisk the eggs, Half and Half cream, salt, and garlic powder together in one bowl.
Grate the cheese. I like old cheddar because it has a really strong taste. A lot of quiche recipes use Swiss cheese but you can really use any cheese you’d like.
Broccoli flowerets are just the tops of the broccoli. You could also cut up the stocks if you want, but the flowerets are better for a dish like this.
Add the cheese, broccoli, and bacon bits into the mixture. It should look something like this.
Pour the mixture into 2 Tenderflake® pie crusts and be sure to spread evenly. You can absolutely make your pie crusts from scratch. As a medical student I don’t have the luxury of time so these buttery, flaky Tenderflake® crusts will do just fine!
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes. When you’re done you’ll have two delicious cheese broccoli bacon pies! Bon appétit!
