My Mom makes the absolute best burgers. They are seriously to die for. Crispy, juicy, flavourful- anything you could ever want from a burger. Mom helped me make the burgers for this post (more like she made them and I took pictures), so these are coming to you straight from Mama herself! You’ll want to make these for dinner. Let’s get started!
If you’re using beef that has been frozen, you’ll have to break it apart (like we did). Next, pour the rest of the ingredients into the bowl. We used Life cereal because it adds a bit of sweetness to the recipe.
It should look something like this.
Now mix it all up. Yum.
Mould the beef mixture into bun-sized patties and place them in a deep frying plan.
Brown each side and then cover and cook over medium heat for about 25 minutes or until they look done (it’s a hamburger, not brain surgery…no need to be exact here).
They’re ready to serve! I myself am an avo-lover, so I smother all of my burgers with ketchup, mustard, and avocado. You can add whatever toppings you’d like- get creative! Although, you don’t need much else with these babies. They’re delicious all by themselves. I toasted my whole-wheat bun but you could use whatever type of bun you want. Bon appétit!
Update: I recently topped this burger with feta cheese and avocado. Mind. Blown. Give it a try!
